Why can't I create an ad?

Ad formats are gated by the plan on the specific community you are advertising.

Both ad formats are gated by the plan on the community you are advertising — not by your account overall.

Block ads need that community on Featured or Premier
Banner ads need that community on Premier

The common mix-up

If you manage several communities, having one on Premier does not unlock banner ads for the others. Check that the community you selected is the one on the higher plan.

Other things to check

Block ads are limited to one per community — if one already exists, edit it rather than creating another
The community's listing needs to be published

To change a plan, go to Account Settings → Plan and pick that community.
