A Discovery Visit is a program some communities run for people seriously considering a move. It is a chance to spend time in the community, see homes and amenities, and get a feel for daily life there.

What it includes

This varies a great deal by community. Some are a guided tour of a few hours; others include accommodation over several days. Where a community offers one, the details, length, and any cost are shown on the Discovery Visit tab of its page.

What it costs

Each community sets its own terms, and some charge for the stay. Always confirm cost, dates, and what is included directly with the community before you book travel.

Is it a commitment?

Requesting a visit does not commit you to buying anything.
