Using the Advanced Search filters

Advanced Search sits under the main search bar on the Find Communities page. Each filter behaves a little differently, so it helps to know what you are asking for.

Price range

Enter a minimum, a maximum, or both. A community matches if any of its home offerings overlap your range — so a community with homes from $400k to $900k will appear in a search for $500k.

Lifestyle

Broad character tags. Selecting more than one widens the results: a community matching any tag you picked will show.

Amenities

Specific features like a pool, marina, or pickleball courts. Amenities narrow the results: a community must have all the amenities you check. If you are getting too few results, uncheck a few.

Distance to beach

Filters to communities within the distance you choose.

Community features

Yes-or-no characteristics such as gated, waterfront, golf cart friendly, age restricted, or pet friendly.

Home types

Single family, townhome, condo, and similar. Only home types that actually exist in published communities are offered.

Only options present in published communities are shown at all, so no filter you see will ever return an empty list on its own.
